About Francesco Sala

Born in 1996 in Milan, Francesco Sala started drawing monsters and never stopped.

From 2015 to 2018 he studied Illustration at the “Scuola Superiore del Castello Sforzesco” in Milan; during those years he participated on some collective self-published projects.

Francesco started working as a comic artist in 2020, drawing a children’s comic “Vive le CE2” for the French publisher Editions Jungle, he also worked on the sequel “Vive le CM1” one year later.

In 2021 he started working with the Italian publisher Leviathan Labs, drawing a short comic called “Shoot ‘em Dead”, written by Francesco Cappelletti for the anthology “Doomsday Machine.”

After a couple of years spent on personal projects, he finally debuted in the Italian comic industry with “Motolumache,” a graphic novel written by Jacopo Napolitano and published by Editrice il Castoro In 2023.
